Refund and Complaints Policy

Effective: March 1, 2025

This Policy describes cancellation, refunds, and complaints for the FlexFare service provided by Fit 4u Meal Prep LLC, Company Registration No. 201830610296, 2450 San Gabriel Way #303, Corona, CA 92882, United States.

1. Cancellation before delivery

  1. You may cancel or modify your order free of charge at least 24 hours before the scheduled delivery by emailing shawnpreps@gmail.com or calling +1 (951) 733-0890.
  2. Late cancellations may incur a fee up to 50% of the order value to cover ingredients and preparation already started.
  3. Because payment is due on delivery, no deposit refund is typically required.

2. Right to cancel

Perishable prepared food generally cannot be returned after delivery. If you placed a remote order (online or by phone), you may cancel before meals are delivered without giving a reason, subject to the 24-hour notice above.

State-specific cooling-off periods may apply; nothing here limits non-waivable consumer rights.

3. Complaints about defective meals

  1. Inspect your order upon receipt. Report defects (damaged packaging, wrong items, spoilage, quality issues) immediately to the driver or within 24 hours by email or phone.
  2. Include photos and a clear description when possible.
  3. We aim to resolve complaints within 30 days.

Remedies

  • Replacement on the next delivery run;
  • Refund of the affected item(s);
  • Account credit toward a future order.

4. Refund timing

  1. Approved refunds are issued within 14 business days to the original payment method or by check upon request.
  2. If we caused the issue, we cover reasonable return or redelivery costs.

5. When we cannot accept a complaint

  • Damage caused after delivery (improper storage, failure to refrigerate promptly);
  • Subjective taste preferences without an objective defect;
  • Claims made after 24 hours unless the defect could only be discovered later (documented).
